Sugar Smack is a boutique screen production company founded in 2011 by Aimee Knight and Krystle Penhall. We’re passionate about creating engaging screen content of all lengths and genres, for audiences of both traditional and new media. Dedicated to both the craft of screen production and to the wider South Australian arts industry, we’ve worked for the Australian International Documentary Confere

nce, the Media Resource Centre, the Adelaide Festival, Adelaide Film Festival and the Adelaide Fringe, as well as several local production companies, while maintaining our slate of company projects. We’ve produced short dramas and documentaries that have been nominated for national awards, and have screened in festivals in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Toronto, Indiana, Dallas, Paris, Hannover & Hamburg, among others.
