Prayer – Lord, Be My Strength

Lord, You are holy above all, and every bit of strength I need comes from You.

I’m not asking You to remove this trial from my life. Instead, I ask that Your will be done in me, no matter what that looks like. I want what You want — even when it’s hard.

And it is hard, Lord.

There are moments when I feel like I can’t keep going. The fear and the pain feel heavier than I can carry, and I know I don’t have the strength within myself to face this on my own.

But I believe I can come to You, Jesus, and You hear me. I trust that You would never bring me this far only to leave me alone in the wilderness.

So please, give me the strength I need for today. I don’t have to face tomorrow yet. If You help me through this day, that is enough.

Guard my heart from sin during this season of testing. Help me keep my eyes fixed on You. You are the Holy One, and all my hope is found in You.

Thank You for listening to my prayer.
