Carla 🖤 Dylan

This love story has all the makings of a classic romcom, complete with the perfect meet cute.

Carla had been expertly dodging Dylan, knowing he was after “one thing”. For some reason that she now cannot recall, she finally caved and invited him over, confident her family was away for the weekend.

Dylan, thinking he was in for a no-strings-attached evening, rolled up in his white Hyundai—only for Carla’s family to roll up too, cheerfully announcing, “We got the weekend wrong!”

And just like that, instead of getting “one thing,” Dylan got all the things—an impromptu family meet-and-greet and the beginning of 13 years of love, laughter, and occasional chaos.

Absolute couple goals.

🤍 Yesterday I got to marry my best friend..🤍

I didn’t really need to retell this love story that we had all gathered to celebrate, as everyone in Steph’s life, including me, had been waiting with baited breath for the spectacular creature to come along who would one day be “good enough” for our girl and would sweep her off those big of hers.

Steph and Fredl exchanged a few messages back and forth before the big IRL meeting. Fredl, no stranger to quietly approaching big game in the wild, would bide his time while Steph worked the room. When the conditions were just right, he managed to get close enough to initiate their first face to face encounter. Finally, they would have a moment. And it was a moment that would in fact change the direction of their lives forever.

“We were so lucky to have Katie as our wedding celebrant. She was amazing from beginning to end and put in so much time and effort to make sure everything was so personal and our ceremony was 100% us. Katie truly got Tom and I and who we were as a couple and on the day she made our nerves instantly disappear.

Our ceremony was so much fun and so special for both of us. So many of our guests have also commented on how much they loved it. There was laughter, there were tears and life long memories. I can’t wait to get our video and re-live it all again”
