Repost • Shifting from the classroom to the Rocky Mountain foothills gave School of Public Policy students an opportunity to embrace experiential learning and Traditional Knowledge as part of their education about public policy development while navigating complex economic, environmental and social realities.

Students visited the Ann and Sandy Cross Conservation Area southwest of Calgary on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy. The setting offered a powerful backdrop for reflection and discussion.

Okimâw Awards 2025 🪶

On November 15, the late Chase Goulet-Pantherbone received the 7 Teachings Honorary Love Award — a special award added this year to honour and remember how Chase led a life filled with love. “Like the eagle, this person uses unconditional love as a powerful medicine to care for their self, their family, their community, and all of creation.” 🦅❤️

His father, Adrian alongside Chase’s two eldest children accepted the award on his behalf. Our deepest gratitude to the Okimâw Awards for honouring Chase in this way.

Congratulations to all the recipients - such a heartwarming ceremony and celebration!
