Happy Easter 🌸🐰

Easter is such a big holiday here in Germany, even for those of us who aren’t particularly religious. For me, it’s always felt like a celebration of spring, of new beginnings, and of spending time with the people we love.

This year feels a little different… I think it might be the first Easter where my kids don’t believe in the Easter Bunny anymore. A bit bittersweet, to be honest. But I’m still looking forward to the chocolate, the slower days, and making new memories together.

Spring is slowly getting ready to arrive 🌿🐰 and with spring comes Easter! Here in Germany, one of my favorite seasonal traditions is decorating trees and bushes with colorful Easter eggs before they even start to bloom. Wooden or plastic eggs hanging from bare branches add the first cheerful pops of color after the long winter. I’ve already spotted the first ones in my neighborhood, swaying from small trees and garden bushes — a little reminder that warmer, brighter days are on their way.

This illustration, featuring a wreath with spring branches and the words “Somebunny loves you,” was inspired by that joyful moment when nature wakes up again. The sunny yellow background reflects the warmth and light we’re all starting to crave after winter.
