Sieben Jahre Arbeit, 1.500 eigens angefertigte Bilder und die Stimmen von Oscar Isaac, Evangeline Lilly, Elliott Gould und Billy Zane erschaffen eine packende Erzählung, die an Filme wie GLADIATOR oder TROJA erinnert.

In the year 70 CE, Jerusalem becomes a bloody battleground: the population is caught in civil war, and the Roman army stands before the city gates, hungry for revenge. In a unique style, Gidi Dar tells the story of the destruction of the Second Temple through painted still images – portraits, landscapes and sweeping war panoramas – paired with a forceful, radio-play-like voice-over, portraying radical revolutionaries and religious fanaticism.
Seven years of work, 1,500 specially created images and voices including Oscar Isaac, Evangeline Lilly, Elliott Gould and Billy Zane create a gripping narrative reminiscent of films like GLADIATOR or TROY.
