The Cannes Film Festival is among the pinnacle of invitation-only, exclusive-access events in the world. A-listers from around the world come for film, industry events, deal-making, and the most sought-after parties and events. One of these celebrity/ VIP events is the exclusive experience of the luxury gifting suite.
Hollywood Bo***ir, founded by Darren Darnborough and Rolf Dahmer and Los Angeles-based GBK hosted a gifting and styling suite at the lovely Villa Madrid from May 17-20th. Their red carpet was graced by celebrities such as the unforgettable Ken Davitian from Borat & The Artist, Current Pl***oy Playmate Kristen Nicole, David Hasselhoff, actresses Bai Ling and Kym Jackson during the brief times we stopped by to cover the event.
As they enter the gifting suite, VIPs are welcomed warmly and whisked away by a host to take them around the venue, offer them refreshments, and introduce them to the various luxury goods and services that await them from luxury brands such as the brand new Sparkling Hill Resort, Gold Collagen, and Xperio.
Guests in the slightly chilly Cannes weather were warmed by a steaming cup of Kusmi Tea in exotic flavors like their Imperial Label green tea with orange, cinnamon and licorice, and their Anastasia Earl Grey tea with Lemon and Orange Blossom.
Champagne and delectable pastries from Jérôme De Oliveira grace a white, shimmering table as you walk in. If you can drag yourself away from the delicious award winning macaroons and desserts, the next thing that greets you is a stunning display of bling by Sparkling Hill Resort, a brand new European-design hotel and wellness spa boasting over 3.5 million Swarovski crystals infused on the premises. Each gifting suite guest receives an incredible getaway in one of their best suites. Continuing the bling was Jewelry designer Renée by Renée™, who showcased her unique, hand-made earrings and necklaces made from beautiful materials.
Cutting-edge vendors include XPERIO UV™, who gave guests high-end designer sunglasses made with replacement lens that provide superior UV protection technology.
One of the latest products from the UK with rave online reviews is Gold Collagen, a delicious drinkable anti-ageing beauty supplement which aims to “perfect the skin's appearance from within.” They had a special machine that detected the amount of collagen your skin/body had and the “age” it indicated.
After collecting their luxury loot, celebrities could also be styled for the red carpet with hair and makeup by Lexclusif, and dressed in gorgeous gowns provided by WearItMyWay. Hollywood beauties such as Kristen Nicole and Phoebe Price glammed up with the Hollywood Bo***ir theme and posed for photos by the pool.
