This year, we're not JUST about fantastic cinema. 🌊🎶
As part of FilmChelt 2026, Echoes of the Oscars brings the magic of some of cinema's most memorable scores to the truly magnificent Princess Hall at Cheltenham Ladies' College.
This year's concert takes us on a journey across the ocean, with a full 65-piece symphonic orchestra, led by internationally experienced conductor David Curtis, alongside The film Orchestra Choir and Youth Choir.
There's also something particularly special about the orchestra you'll see on stage. The film Orchestra brings together professional and amateur musicians who volunteer their time and talent for the love of the music, while supporting charity through their performances.
One of the evening's highlights will see the orchestra joined by both choirs for John Williams' powerful 'Dry Your Tears, Afrika' from Amistad – a piece rarely performed live and set to be particularly spectacular with so many musicians filling Princess Hall.
With iconic music from the big screen, special guests and a true Oscars-inspired atmosphere, this promises to be a one-off evening worthy of the red carpet. 🎻✨
