Happy new year from both Allan and Colin :)

We (Allan mainly) slacked off from our reviewing duties due to a somewhat hectic close to 2013.

The good news is that we have a large backlog of reviews which will be going up on the blog over the next few days.

Tonight, we'll post our Ben Affleck reviews, with a multitude of non-categorised pieces to follow therein.

You can follow us on Tumblr and look up our archives to see what other stuff we have there :D

The Film Buffs will be starting our new segment next week with Ben Affleck week!

The world has been going crazy over the casting of Affleck as Batman in Zack Snyder's 2015 Man of Steel Sequel, so we're looking at a couple of Affleck films to get you into the mood (hopefully) for his upcoming feature.

Apologies for the lack of posting, TFB have a lot on their plate just now with work and uni, but rest assured we'll have reviews up as and when we can!

One of every man's worst fears is irreversible damage to his "member".

Mitchell Lichtenstein was so entranced by this fear, that he decided to make a God awful film about a girl with a special set of teeth that were up to the task of creating such disfigurement...

Even if you're scared of clowns, I highly doubt you'll be scared of the film adaptation of Stephen King's It.

The only screams you will utter will be those of laughter at the tragic acting on display, and the only thing keeping you awake at night is thinking about how you could have better spent the last three hours.

Tired of blood and guts? Scary killers in masks just not doing it for you? Feel like you're ready to give up on the same old same old feel of the horror genre?

The Omen (1976), IMO, is the ultimate terror-fest. It scares you in a very unconventional way, and doesn't rely on a murderous rampage, a supernatural presence, or a creepy clown/ doll to genuinely make you want to sleep with the lights on forever.

Renowned actor Gregory Peck will take you to hell and back in this truly thrilling horror outing. Read my review here:

Allan and Colin teamed up to review the two latest installments in the "Texas Chainsaw" series. If you're looking for a bloody film, filled with potentially incestuous redneck characters (and Jessica Biel in a very tight top), then you should check out Allan's review of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre here:
