A round of applause after Song Sung Blue. Great performances from Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson and lots of classic songs from songsmith, Neil Diamond.

Now, roll on June with Rental Family. Gonna be another goodie!

Song Sung Blue this Saturday at L A Cinema and we’re picking our favourite Neil Diamond songs before we screen the film.

Pick number 4 is a Neil Diamond classic, made famous by The Monkees, who made it a UK and U.S. number 1 hit. Billboard called it “an easy-go dance mover" and it’s constantly played on radio today. I’m a Believer. What a tune!

Yes, we’re showing Song Sung Blue on Saturday and counting down our favourite Neil Diamond songs. Here’s pick number 3.

Neil Diamond’s 1970 hit Cracklin’ Rosie, where Neil was backed by session musicians, The Wrecking Crew. It reached number 3 in the UK Singles Chart.

Listen to Neil performing the song on Top of the Pops in 1970. This is one catchy tune!

Live on BBC's Top Of The Pops, repeated on ZDF's Disco on 13th March, 1971.
