Around 15 years ago, we converted our loft into a cosy cinema room, which we christened The Loft Movie Theatre. The old upstairs bar at Savoy Nottingham was the inspiration behind the decor. We papered the walls with old film posters and recreated the bar with wall-mounted optics. Just for fun, we created a page (the one you're on right now!) where we uploaded posters of the films we watched. To our surprise, people started interacting with the page and commenting on our film choices. Then we discovered that we'd been voted the fourth best cinema in Nottingham on Google - which we thought was hilarious, but also rather cool!
In 2016, we thought it'd be fun to come out of our loft and show the films we'd been enjoying to a real-life audience in an actual cinema... but that's a story for another time!
