To celebrate 25 years of Anderson Green, we’re proud to be organising a charity cycling challenge in support of SSAFA.

On 23rd & 24th July, our riders will cycle from the Anderson Green Nottingham office to the Anderson Green Leeds office and back again over two days, with an overnight stay in Leeds.

Our goal is to cover 250km to mark 25 years of Anderson Green — although the full route is expected to be closer to 300km!

We’re inviting all AG staff and industry contacts to get involved, whether you’re an experienced cyclist or simply looking to take on a personal challenge while raising money for a fantastic cause. Contact Joe Barlow for more information!

👏 Celebrating Ethan Thornton's Journey at Anderson Green 👏

We’re proud to recognise Ethan and his fantastic progression since joining Anderson Green in 2017

Starting as a Trainee Revit Technician, Ethan has progressed through roles as an Apprentice Mechanical Engineer and Intermediate Mechanical Engineer, and now holds the position of Mechanical Engineer in our Leeds office

Alongside his career development, Ethan has achieved an outstanding range of qualifications in Building Services Engineering:

🎓 Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma
🎓 Level 4 HNC
🎓 Level 5 HND
🎓 Level 6 BSc (Hons)
🎓 Level 7 Masters, with Distinction

Ethan’s dedication has also been recognised externally, having won the CIBSE Graduate of the Year Award — a fantastic achievement

He has also consistently been a great team player, taking part in fundraising events such as the Robin Hood Marathon and the National Three Peaks Challenge in support of our Charity of the Year.

A brilliant achievement and a great example of hard work, development, and teamwork — well done Ethan!
