Had to share this random picture I captured on the beach over the weekend 📸
I had the ‘Chelsea’ ring on by Jewellery • Necklaces | Bracelets | Earrings | Rings | Anklets, which was kindly named after me after winning a competition, which is pretty cool 🥹
I love their jewellery in general, I adore turquoise (obviously that colour is part of my branding) and I also love that you can see my son playing, blurred in the background.
And it made me think…this picture has absolutely nothing to do with my work really, but actually, so much of why I love my job is because it’s creative.
I’ve always loved pictures and video. I was that girl on a night out with the camera, ten million spare batteries and three Facebook albums the next day called Night Out 1, Night Out 2 and Night Out 3 😂
I just love capturing memories and moments.
So when I was on this basically empty beach, with my son playing in the background, I thought, what a perfect place to quickly snap this stunning summer ring.
Is it the best product photo you’ll ever see? Absolutely not 😂 But I love it because it captures the moment.
Yes, there’s a marketing strategy side to socials. Yes, there’s a psychology side too. But actually, a huge part of why I love what I do is simply because it’s creative and fun, and I’ve always loved capturing things.
Anyway, just a random thought I wanted to share.
