This is the blog of community art project, 'Humans of the Park District', based in Weymouth, Dorset.

‘Humans of the Park District’ is a community art project which aims to promote a positive image of the area to counter many people's preconceptions about it, and to show that there are some truly inspirational people living just around the corner. I have been meeting people in the community, and

interviewing and photographing them. Some of these photographs can now be seen along the train wall on Ranelagh Rd. There are paste ups all over the world and now the Park District is joining the movement. Here you can read about the encouraging and inspiring stories behind the smiling faces on the train wall. Exhibition currently showing along with two other projects: Monday 15th & Tuesday 16th June

Opening times: 11am - 7pm

Location: 8 Ranelagh Rd

There is also a cinema style projection showing at the Weldmar Charity shop on Hardwick Street. You can see the INSIDE OUT Paste Ups opposite 26 Ranelagh Rd. By Local artist Morwenna Vine
