Photo catch-up time for my endangered species from ! I have loved having the tiger 🐯 on my pin board behind my sewing machine but now it’s time to replace it with the blue macaw 🦜. Next it’s time for the African Wild Dog and I have the Cross River Gorilla 🦍 waiting in the wings. I really feel the improvement in my FPP skills by doing this block of the month and have enjoyed the journey too, especially because of the lovely bright colours!

Getting organised for putting together my Crochet quilt from .quilts and . Very grateful for my Stripology ruler from which has made the cutting a breeze. Love the colours and looking forward to seeing this in one piece.

Caught up with my recorded workshop from and had fun with this afternoon. Not sure what to make with this but am excited to quilt it. Pin free piecing with curves made to look very easy by Jenny!

Final borders prepped and then added to this from which has proved to be the only block of the month I’ve kept up with, thanks to the prompt of monthly Zoom calls with fellow quilters organised by 😍 Fabulous bright colours and now can’t wait to quilt it! Thanks to Lisa and Helen - now off to catch up with my from the same source using lovely ♥️

So I finally did it! I entered two of my quilts into the Festival of Quilts and it was a privilege to see them hanging up amongst all the other fabulous pieces. It was also a new experience to eavesdrop a little and hear what people thought of them!! Thanks as always to who has always been my biggest supporter, to for turning my photo into a quilt pattern, and for for providing a forum to share them.

Big moment here - the show catalogues for have arrived today and for the first time, I am showing two quilts!! I can’t explain the excitement of seeing my name in the catalogue for the first time and can’t wait to get to the show and see my little quilts alongside all of the beautiful work from makers across the globe 🌍 Thanks to all the organisers!
