What's more enthralling than getting a call from an ex BOA rider along with a king of Solo riding to plan together a camping ride to Nameri National Park ... almost nothing right ??, Meet Pankaj Kalita , Partha Gayan and Abhinash Kashyap , who decided to give Nameri and Bhalukpong a visit on their Two Wheeled beasts , we started at 0800 hours , reached Nagaon at 1030 hours had our breakfast at Partha Da's place and headed to Nameri via Tezpur , and we were so excited to ride deep into the forest , it was an offroad trail hardly any gravel, found fresh elephant dung and tiger footprints on the way ... and the view of west kameng was simply awesome and after that we rode to Bhalukpong nearly 27kms from our camp site and had our lunch at hotel Shivam , we headed back to our camp site by 1700 hours .... One can easily take a bike ride to Nameri , there's plenty of Gas stations throughout the route so running out of fuel is not an option , Any Royal Enfield bike will not consume more than Rs1400(typical Indian measurements of course) on fuel , Just be a little cautious at night while camping as elephant herds passing through is a common factor.
