It gives us immense pleasure to inform you that ISIC, Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences is going to conduct two days “Hands on CRE on HALO Application in Spinal Injuries & Deformities” on 15th -16th November 2014. The Programme focuses on Expertise in Application of HALO Brace in different Pathological conditions such as spinal injuries and spinal deformities.

The Programme is accredited by Rehabilitation council of India*.

Good News for all Graduates and Post Graduates of Prosthetics and Orthotics

Now our BPO and MPO course is specified in UGC under section 22 of UGC Act.
After continuous effort taken by all regular graduates and post graduates of Prosthetics and Orthotics since 2011, now finally we achieved it. We faced a lot of hurdles during this period and made all the effort such as post card campaign, letter to RCI and Professional Association, and regular follow-up to UGC, finally biggest thing we have achieved.
Now, it is the time not only to celebrate but also to think about standard of our profession. We can achieve our entire professional goal and standard just by uniting all together regular graduates and post graduates.
Our Journey does not end here, it starts after this biggest achievement i.e. UGC recognition.
We will achieve all our professional goal and standard even better than any other profession if we work untedily.

Anti-quackery Cell; Prosthetics and Orthotics

This is to bring to kind notice to all Respected Prosthetics and Orthotics Professionals that Unqualified Persons are practicing in the field of Prosthetics and Orthotics since long back and these are increasing exponentially due to inadequate information available to curb the malpractices.

Recently Rehabilitation Council of India after the representation of Prosthetics and Orthotics Professionals has assured to take necessary action to curb malpractices for the benefit of persons with locomotor disability.

Hence, we would like to request you to kindly send the list of unqualified persons around you with evidence who are practicing without having valid RCI license/registration.

Complainants Confidentiality will be strictly maintained and action will be taken immediately against quacks after finding the facts.
