A screening of the docu-film 'Why We Always Return Home?' by Vipin Dhanurdharan ( ) on Sunday, May 4th, conducted by in association with at Neighbour Terrace.

The film traces Dhanurdharan's journey to uncover the identities of 16 migrant labourers who were tragically run over by a train in Aurangabad, while migrating back to their homes during the COVID pandemic lockdown in 2020.

The post-screening QnA session touched upon different ideas of what home could be and how large scale events such as the partition and the pandemic affect those notions. The session was led by Vipin and moderated by Hafis S Hasan (.grimscribe) from The Dying Art Collective.
