these last couple of episode while enjoyable , i feel mentally checked out, perhaps it more telling of me than the shows' quality

alas its closing to finishing line now

[Nem] Just 40 seconds into the series they decided to brutally blow up one of the ultras off screen with a menacing background music.

Is this even a kids show anymore?

Yeah i said it, while Shin Ultraman has better action, i find Ultraman's shift to loving humanity feels sudden and underdeveloped, where as in Shin Kamen Rider you can understand the mental state Hongo's going through from the subtle expression and moments of vulnerability he shown through out the movie,

subtext of whats going on in Shin Kamen Rider is much greater than what it actually shows, especially if you read Shin Kamen Rider Shocker Side manga (though its great as companion piece, i wish it expand it even more)
