As a business owner, one thing I have realized is how important it is to have a working phone number or contact information online.
Sometimes, people genuinely want to buy from you, book an appointment, or make an inquiry. But not everyone wants to go through the stress of entering a bus, finding a bike, or sitting in traffic just to ask a few questions especially if you live in Lagos, where traffic can be exhausting.
Today, I needed a service and I was already thinking about the stress of going there just to make an inquiry. Then I saw their phone number online. I called, asked my questions, got all the information I needed, and booked my appointment immediately. It was so easy and saved me a lot of time and stress.
That reminded me that as business owners, we should make it easy for customers to reach us. A working phone number, WhatsApp line, or other contact information online can make a big difference. It helps customers get answers quickly and encourages them to do business with you.
Sometimes, making yourself easy to reach is all it takes to turn an inquiry into a paying customer.
