CONTENTMENT
Text:1 Tim6:6-12 Godliness with contentment is great gain.
Introduction:
(1) We live in a generation obsessed with instant results.
(2) If something doesn’t work within a week, people give up.Patience and waiting for God's time is not part of the option.
(3) If success doesn’t arrive in a month, they assume they are failing. If recognition doesn’t come immediately, they convince themselves they’re not good enough.They result to self help.the case of Saul offering sacrifice because Samuel delayed.
(4) A world where people don't see the good in what they have.They have a bike they wish it was a car.they have a car and wish it was a luxury car etc.

How to stay contented?
(1) 1tim 6:5 (from such withdraw thy self) avoid associating with people who are desperate..Most decisions for quick gain and money among youth are fueled by the wrong association.
(2)Psalm 119:9-16 allow the word of God to clean your mind
(3) 1tim 6:7 (you brought nothing to this world) understand that you are leaving this world completely empty.
(4) Ecl 1:2(vanity upon vanity) Understand that with time you will see the vanity in that thing you are desperate to get at all cost.
(5) 1tim 6:9 understand that those who are desperate for riches fall into perdition.
(6)Mark 8:36 understand that your soul is more important
CONCLUSION: Contentment is not a call to mediocrity or low life (1tim 6:8 having good and raiment) but to leave and appreciate every moment of our life,and with our salvation intact and heaven as our goal
