After the magic of our last event, we’re bringing the big screen back for another cosy winter night under the stars. ✨❄️

This time, we’re screening Five Feet Apart on 30th May at South New Brighton Domain — a beautiful story of love, distance, strength, and connection. 💙

With May being Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month, this movie carries an extra meaningful message, reminding us how powerful human connection can be, even when distance matters most.

🚗🎬 FUNDRAISER DRIVE-IN MOVIE NIGHT AT FERNSIDE SCHOOL! 🎬🚗

Get ready for a fun-filled family evening hosted by Hot Rods to Fernside on Friday, 15th May at Fernside School!

Bring the kids along early and enjoy:

🎨 FREE face painting
🏰 Giant inflatable bouncy castle
🦸 Special guests on site — Spider-Man, Elsa, Bluey and more!
🎶 Live music
🍔 Food vendors
🚘 Classic drive-in movie experience
🌟 A magical winter movie night under the stars!

Gates open at 4:00pm, so come early, park up, set up your car, grab your blankets, and enjoy the atmosphere before the movie begins.

Join us on 11th April at South New Brighton Domain for another magical night under the stars with Firefly Cinema 🚗💫

This event will also mark the final drive-in of our season in Christchurch — and a bittersweet pause for us. For now, we won’t be hosting independent movie screenings, though you may still see us popping up for fundraiser events alongside other amazing organisers 🤝
