October 19th (Wed.)
Sorry for the late posting.
Four midshipmen and I attended "the Maryland-Kanagawa Sister State Partnership 40th Anniversary Reception" held at UMBC.
We were able to meet Mr. Kuroiwa, Governor of Japan's Kanagawa Prefecture, and, Mr. WobenSmith, Secretary of Maryland State, who hosted the event, and hear valuable stories from them.
Also, One of the midshipmen made a congratulatory speech in excellent Japanese, and it was very great!!
