Recovery isn’t just about putting the drugs down.
It’s about learning how to live again. It’s waking up and facing life on life’s terms. Some days are beautiful and some days are heavy. Some moments it’s hard to choose growth when your mind wants to escape. It’s feeling emotions you used to numb. It’s rebuilding trust, showing up, and staying willing even when it’s difficult. I’m grateful today, not because life is perfect, but because I’m still here. I pray the darkest chapters of my story are behind me. Every breath I take now is proof that change is possible.

If you’re still stuck, don’t give up.
Brighter days are real.
Keep going. One day at a time 🙏🏽

There’s a version of me that lived in survival mode.. lying, hiding, burning bridges just to make it through the day. Recovery transformed that same person into someone who contributes instead of takes, who shows up instead of disappears. Now I have the opportunity to be responsible, accountable and rebuild what I once broke. Today I show up for my family, for my commitments and for myself. God is so good and every breath is a blessing. Recovery didn’t just save my life, it gave me a life worth protecting.
