Happy Birthday !

Lebron James is scheduled to make his first major acting role in "Space Jam: A New Legacy" on July 16, 2021. The Lakers superstar will be stepping into a similar role played by his idol, Michael Jordan, after 24 years since the original "Space Jam" debuted.

A few days ago Tiffany Haddish broke her silence on walking away from an invitation to host the Grammys pre-telecast. The Grammys refused to pay the comedian/actress for her time, hair, makeup, or wardrobe for a three-hour livestream event.

According to variety Haddish said, “All of that would have to come out of my pocket...I don’t know if this might mean I might not get nominated ever again, but I think it’s disrespectful...I was like, ‘The exposure is amazing but I think I have enough."

Harvey Mason Jr., the Recording Academy Interim President and CEO was swift to respond. He posted a video on Instagram apologizing to Haddish and said he had no knowledge a talent booker for the academy told Haddish they wouldn't cover the costs.

Tiffany Haddish is nominated for best comedy album at the 2021 Grammy Awards for "Black Mitzvah."

You know you have had an impact on culture when the name of a character you played can be used as a verb. Thank you for the laughs, Tommy "Tiny" Lister A.K.A "Debo."

According to Lister's manager, Cindy Cowan, he was diagnosed with COVID-19 earlier this year. She said he beat the virus, but he became ill about a week ago and was having diffuclty breathing. The cause of death has not been released yet, as the coroner's office is conducting its autopsy. Friends and fans are paying their respects online.

It is with a heavy heart that we must inform you that we will be postponing screenings until further notice. Over the past month, we have considered our customers, employees, venues, vendors, and many more before coming to this decision. We started this journey to provide people who feel underrepresented on screen a safe space to enjoy a range of cuisines and diverse films.

With regulations increasing and the temperature decreasing, we could not in good conscious say we'd be providing the best experience you all deserve. Until then we will continue to bring you engaging content, keep you updated, and most importantly work to perfect the experience at our pop-up dinner + movie screenings. We wish you all the best in health and can't wait to welcome you back soon.
