We embrace the tenets of experimental and micro-budget filmmaking, generating projects rich in content with the most fitting cinematic tools. Created in 2012, FCHC Productions is a response to the film school mentality of the quality of technology over the quality of storytelling. Our company’s approach can be best described as “guerilla cinema” – shooting fast and cheap with a focus on effective
storytelling. Our goal is to create art inspired by experimental cinema (for its strong themes and bold messages) and micro-budget filmmaking (for its economic and determined approach). We believe in using the right technology for the right stories, whether for commercials, music videos, short or feature length films. Peter Bowse is the founder of FCHC Productions. He is a Film & Video graduate from Columbia College Chicago, and currently resides in Chicago, IL. His influences include Luis Bunuel, Roy Andersson, David Cronenberg, Werner Herzog, and Woody Allen.
