Hey everyone. This is an unfinished piece that I need your help with. The center has turned out a little darker than I would’ve liked and so I am thinking of adding either gold or copper circles in the center or maybe even a spiral not sure at this point. But I’d like to know is do you think it would look better with copper or gold? Let me know as I will probably work on this tomorrow. Thanks so much 👍

Recent painting. It was painted upside down from what it is displayed as. I like it this way better because it looks like something is coming out of the hand that I see as the gold paint. Feel free to comment on what you say

I am almost certain that I forgot to post this. It’s been at least a month since I painted it. It’s a 10 x 20 with blue and gold I think there’s some copper in white as well. Maybe some yellow pretty pretty pretty

Yesterday we delivered a thumb drive of the video we produced for the Palm Harbor historical museum for their upcoming exhibit opening revealing the African-American contribution in North Pinellas county. The exhibit includes an interview with Barbara sorry love about growing up in the 50s 60s and 70s and beyond in the Clearwater Heights neighborhood. It’s a two-part oral history that will be part of the ongoing exhibit. We were very proud to be included in this project and help till a very needed untold story. Stop by and visit the museum. They are located at the corner of North Belcher and Curlew Road on the north west corner. Plenty of parking. Once the exhibit opens we will post the videos on our YouTube site and add them here if you’re interested. December 19:

This was the first video biography we ever did for Dorothy Wylie in 2007 I believe. Since then we have morphed into vonhenryfilms’s and do one large project like this about once a year. These oral histories are so important for families to keep their history alive. Covid has shown us that nothing is forever so get those histories on camera everyone, it’s so important. 

Because of Covid, our elderly parents or grandparents might have their stories taken away from us because they are at risk. A video biography is more relevant now than ever before. VonHenry Films, 727-535-5425.

Hank and I took new head shots today for our website and for our marketing and social media accounts. I love this photo of Hank looking at the photos we’ve taken. In the next couple of days we will be releasing them once they are edited. If you haven’t had new head shots in the last two years it’s time.
