Grand Forks Movie Lovers – An Update!

We’ve heard your excitement and appreciate all the interest in our Grand Forks project. Rest assured—our vision for bringing luxury movie going to Grand Forks and the surrounding communities is very much alive and moving forward. In fact, we’ve already made a significant investment in making it a reality.

While industry-wide challenges—like last year’s dual Hollywood strikes—have created a slower start to 2025 (one of the toughest first quarters in decades), Odyssey remains focused on growth and innovation. We’ve recently completed a stunning multi-million dollar renovation in Fond du Lac, WI, delivering one of the finest cinema experiences in the state. Two more locations are currently under renovation as part of our continued commitment to raising the bar for moviegoing.

That same level of excellence—and more—is what’s coming to Grand Forks.

When complete, Odyssey Cinemas & Social in Grand Forks will become the flagship of our company and the most advanced, state-of-the-art theatre complex in North Dakota. We are committed to doing it right—not rushing the process, but ensuring every detail exceeds expectations.

Our current timeline is to break ground in 2025, with a target opening in late 2026. Should that timeline shift, we promise to keep you informed every step of the way.

Thank you for your continued support and patience. We can’t wait to bring this incredible experience to Grand Forks—you deserve it.

Stay tuned!
