Three days ago I did something I've wanted to do for a long time: I published my first novel.
The First Kingdom is an archaeological mystery set in West Tennessee. I wanted to write the kind of story I enjoy reading—a mystery grounded in a real place, built around an artifact that shouldn't exist and a discovery that raises a much larger question about what we think we know about the past.
I'm starting from scratch as a fiction writer, so I'm not expecting anyone to know my name. But if you enjoy archaeological mysteries, historical adventure, or stories about discoveries that challenge accepted history, I'd be grateful if you'd take a look.
