Carrie is always one step ahead, anticipating the needs of her clients to ensure a smooth, customized production. Whether you're in a completely stocked studio or a completely barren desert, Carrie thrives on the inevitably, unpredictable production variables. She is fueled by her love of photography & people- and couples it with- her innate anal tendency towards organized production. From estimat
ing to billing and everything in between, Carrie combines crafty & creative with professional & efficient. Carrie began producing by the time her crayons hit the coloring book and started taking pictures when Mickey and Minny were still just friends. During a writing assignment in 1997 for Elle Magazine, Carrie curiously eyed a "big" photo shoot down the hall. She tripped and fell in love with a shiny reflector card. This melded Carrie and her love affair with commercial photography. to pursue commercial shooting. However, she quickly found her nitch in the art of the production. When she's not thinking of the next witty thing to say, Carrie enjoys her personal photography, Quentin Tarrantino movies, tennis, and swinging in a hammock on a cloudy day. Carrie lives in Los Feliz with her husband, Matt Harbicht, (HARBICHTPHOTO) and their amazing daughter, Grace Evelyn. Carrie received a BA in Journalism from SUNY Albany. She received her 2nd BA with honors from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara. "I love production, I chose it. I didn't chose photography, it chose me"
