Genuine Pictures LLC was founded in 2011 with the release of the short film ‘’In the Fade.’’
Starring Gustavo Taveras with an original screenplay written and directed by Bryan Lewandowski. Bryan has a background in fine art and has received numerous awards within the artistic community, including a Scholastic Art & Writing Awards ‘’Gold Key’’ and ‘’Best of Class’ nomination for the short film ‘’T

he Mirror’’ at LACC in 2009. Moved to LA in 2009 where he cast Gustavo Taveras in the lead role for the short film ‘’In the Fade.’’ He was born in Panama on a military base in 1988 and is originally from Pittsburgh, Kansas. Bryan has made over an estimated 100 short films before moving to LA where he got accepted by UCLA & The Los Angeles Film School. Bryan formed Genuine Pictures LLC with Gustavo, a production company, specializing in micro-budget horror movies. The two would go on to make 3 short films together until years later, they decided to go on their first feature film venture after gaining critical attention for Bryan Lewandowski’s first feature screenplay entitled ‘’The Malevolent.’’
