What a difference a drum carder makes!
I ordered a 4” Brother mini carder on FB marketplace and it arrived today!
The merino wool goes from the consistency of chicken scraps to fluffy cotton candy. Next up, the spinning wheel!

I’m packing up orders as fast as they come in… no time to stand up and use a table 😂

We’re going to hit 100 Popcycle Shawl preorders this week! I think part of the appeal is the yarn: light bamboo and polyester from recycled water bottles, with incredible drape. It’s a pain to wind into a ball, so we do that part for you (in 6 gorgeous shades.)
The pattern is mostly garter stitch with a little bit of shaping: K2tog and kfb. Video tutorials help you through it!
The pattern will be released soon but first we’re going to ship out the preorders.

My sweet husband, modeling the Woodland alpaca slipper socks! He loved them and wants to keep them (but I will borrow them back for at the end of the month)

Judy finished pair #2 of our bestselling alpaca socks!
She had never knit a pair of socks before trying our pattern, and she sat with me and helped me improve the pattern even more.
In 2026 we’re going to add a line of yarn that blends alpaca with merino. Stay tuned for the gorgeous colors!
