Atelier Sovanny

Atelier Sovanny is a women’s couture bridal and special occasion brand based in the Pacific Northwest region of the U.S. In addition to offering local custom-made and couture garments, we offer services for rental and styling of traditional Cambodian weddings; alterations and tailoring of off the rack garments; and sustainably conscious limited edition women’s ready to wear apparel and accessories

. This brand is the brainchild of founder/designer Sovanny Van. Growing up, she would watch her mother, a designer, seamstress, and wedding stylist work in the sewing room. Her mother designed and made outfits for clients in the community to wear to weddings, religious ceremonies, and other formal celebrations. In addition to the couture outfits, her mother provided styling services for traditional Cambodian weddings. All products are designed and created/manufactured or altered/tailored by the founder/designer. Attention to detail and elegant styling is inspired by her ethnic background of Cambodia and vintage Hollywood. Atelier Sovanny Labels:

~ Gold:
Custom designed couture garments and accessories including design collaboration projects.

~ Green:
Limited edition, ready to wear garments and accessories focusing on sustainability sourced materials/supplies including alterations and tailoring services.

~ Red:
Rental and styling for traditional Cambodian wedding outfits for the bride/groom and their attendants. The brand is focused on sustainability in the fashion industry and combining old world artisan methods with new world technology; supporting organizations that develop and empower women, children, and artisans through these multiple streams of revenue. Atelier Sovanny is not just another clothing label. We strive to create awareness of issues affecting people and planet. By working with suppliers and organizations that align with the brand’s values, we help increase the strength as a group to continue the momentum of the 3Ps of sustainability: People, Planet, Profit. Future plans include contribution of funds from the multiple streams of revenue to support efforts for developmental opportunities for women, children, and artists while helping to improve sustainability options for the planet we live on.
