Shawn has the ability to spot star quality when she sees it! Shawn got her start in the entertainment industry as a Casting Director in March 2009 while casting a short film for Independent Film Producer Shelley Titus called "Mother In Distress" After working on "Mother In Distress, Screenwriter/Producer Ralph Diaz hired her to cast his theatrical version of "Dawn"

After the casting success of

both projects, it was then that she realized that casting was her calling. However, after witnessing the struggles of many talented actors, Shawn has also made the ultimate decision to devote the other part of her life toward promoting and marketing to the best of her ability those talented and creative individuals that have not yet been discovered in the Hollywood spotlight.
