This movie follow the steps of the daily coordinated work of residents, led by lawyers and community organizers. We have filmed this struggle for months getting to learn repeated actions and vocabulary: long lines at the Housing Court, neighbors meetings, demonstrations, instructions of law suites against landlords harassment, HP cases, stipulations.

Thousends of working class New Yorkers are violently pushed out of their homes and made homeless.

When landlords want to raise rents or demolish buildings to make way for pricey new developments illegally withhold basic services like heat and hot water, or offer paltry buyouts or denyes repairs. At the Housing Court Judges witness this unfairness all the time, but there’s little they can do about it. In Brooklyn, South Williamsburg aka «Los Sures» the community has developed his own «Method» to fight back. And win.
