One of the first American celebrities, Cody invented the Rodeo and the Hero Cowboy out of his genuine adventures in the Old West. One of the original destroyers of the Plains Indian Nations, Buffalo Bill Cody would go on to become an international celebrity with this Wild West Show. He would also go a long way to rewrite the history of the United States by creating the mythology of the Hero Cowboy and demonizing the "original Americans" of this nation.
