GalacTech Getaways (Powered by Team GalacTechs) is made up of four future scientists with interests ranging from filmaking, acting, 3D printing, math and robotics . Nadia (11), Rayyan (10), Kamran (10) and Aleena (8) bonded over their love for space and their desire to explore the moon. emperature guided movable space camp) that will change the face of space travel forever. Through their agency, GalacTech Getaways, these young explorer-entrepreneurs will provide safe, cost-effective access to the moon. Watch their video to find out how they will accomplish this feat! If selected to be in Phase 2, the team will put their robotics expertise to good use and utilize the VEX IQ Super Kit to complete the challenge. Rayyan, the "CTO" of the team is a Lead builder and driver of his school's Robotics team and has successfully competed in various robotics tournaments. Nadia, the "COO" is an award winning filmmaker with her latest entry winning the San Luis Obispo Film Festival in the 'Best Elementary School Short Film' category. Kamran, the "CEO" and best salesman GalacTech Getaways has, is only 10 but already a smooth talker and loves experimenting with circuit boards and 3d printing. And last, but not least, the charming "Tour Director", Aleena is a budding actress and most recently starred as one of the orphans in the play 'Annie'. One of her favorite books is ‘The Moon Seems to Change' and she diligently keeps track of when the full moon might appear. This 'Moonificent' group is out to wow you with their ideas on how to conquer space travel and bring the Earth closer to the moon.
