There is something so special about creating a flower for the very first time.
Before I ever touch the sugar, there is a whole process of observing, studying, imagining, and figuring out how to translate something so delicate and natural into an edible art form.

Next week, I’ll be creating sugar lilies for the first time, and I’m already thinking about their shape, their movement, their petals, and all those little details that make a real flower feel alive.
For me, this is one of the most beautiful parts of the creative process: not knowing exactly how it will turn out, but trusting the process enough to begin.
I can’t wait to see these lilies come to life.

This baby cake was inspired by soft skies, tiny travels, and all the wonder that comes with welcoming a new little one. From the hand-crafted koala pilot and miniature hot-air balloon to the delicate clouds, stars, buttons, and textured details, every element was created to make this design feel playful, tender, and completely unique.

A little disco, a lot of lavender, and so many handmade details. ✨🪩💜
Created for Marielena’s 15th birthday, this cake was designed to feel feminine, modern and full of movement — from the cascading sugar flowers and mirrored disco balls to the tiny silver and lavender mosaic details placed throughout each tier.

I absolutely love creating cakes like this, where every little element becomes part of the story. Watching the design come together piece by piece is always one of my favorite parts of what I do.

There’s something extra special about creating cakes for children and bringing their little worlds to life. 🐨

I could honestly spend all day working on a tiny character like this. I love watching each little detail come together — the expression, the texture, the personality — and I still get excited every time I see the piece slowly evolve in my hands.
These playful, storybook-style designs are some of my favorite cakes to create because they allow me to just have fun with it!!!

These little beauties deserved their own moment.
Handcrafted sugar cosmos, each petal shaped and painted by hand to create that soft, delicate, almost-real look. I’m completely in love with the lavender and ivory together.
