Sinkhole repair is becoming quite a sizeable part of what we do, at least for this unfortunate client. Here we're repairing the third one in about a football fields distance, and the second in just a couple of months. Doing any type of building in the KOP and Conschohocken area brings a strong chance for these given the limestone rock in the area. Even with this site being just three years old, you never know when they will pop up. Working closely with Earth Engineering Inc, we fixed the issue and made the site safe again.

How many different things can you do in a week? This one not too long ago included swale grading+horse manure removal+pasture entrance maintenance at the George School, then paving at Holly Days Nursery, and wrapped up the week with trench drain replacement and concrete at CRC in Warminster (the makers of Brākleen).

While Spring has been taking its time, we have been back to school... MYCO Mechanical brought us in to work on a historical building at Cheney University. Part of the building restoration and upgrading consisted of new drainage for large window wells. CE handled the sawcutting, concrete removal, excavation, core-drilling, and concrete replacement to route the piping into and then out of the crawl space. Not the easiest and most fun job, but we love to solve a problem and are proud to be a part of maintaining history.

When the weather isn't the best to work onsite, you take the time to maintain your equipment. These are the costs that customers don't directly see but are critical to keep a business like ours running smoothly. We installed new undercarriage components on our Cat 319 excavator and also rebuilt every hydraulic cylinder on our 1986 Case 580E backhoe that is our yard machine. The same level of care we put into your project goes into all of our equipment, even the ones you don't see out on the jobs that still play a critical role in your project.

Wrapped the week up with changing out some fire hydrants as a proactive measure for Doylestown Township Municipal Authority. Thanks to BBlair Corporation for having us help them with this project. Their hydro-vac trucks make it safe and easy so no gas/electric/communication lines get damaged, and also keep a nice tidy job. After the backfill, we placed topsoil/seed/straw before the snowstorm so grass will grow when Spring comes.

2025 is here and the New Year's resolution is to stay on top of sharing what's going on at CE with social media. 2024 was a good year and we'll filter in what we missed along the way as we move into this year. We're starting off 2025 by tearing it down! This project comes from a new relationship we forged with Gemmi Construction. If you don't know who they are, take the time to look them up because their quality and professionalism is second to none. Main Street in New Hope is where the fun is beginning and we can't wait to update you along the way.

Are you guys busy? Nahhh...
Spring is when the work blooms along with the flowers. This is what we've been up to along with plenty of other unseen work and repairs. Thanks to MEG Contractors, Winterwood Associates, Walter Brucker Co, and most of all the CE team that makes it all happen.

CE went back to school with this demo project at Colonial Elementary School. We started with stripping topsoil and installing a lay-down yard. Then came time for some surgical demo where we removed these brick wall panels in preparation for new two-story offices and classrooms in this portion of the gym. Don't hit the white columns or the roof falls down...😬
A quick cleanup with everything sent to proper reclamation channels and the job keeps moving along. Thank you Walter Brucker Co.

While we are on the subject of concrete, we helped out on this garage addition in Willow Grove. We performed the excavation, poured the footers, demo'd the original floor, and poured the new floor. Some tight access and low ceilings made for a fun time, but we like a good challenge.
Thank you Marc Martin

A little redo for a 'pourly' done generator pad on the Willow Grove Naval Airbase. Previous contractor forgot their tape measure and their concrete tools on this first go around...
We ripped it all out, installed the proper size conduits in tight quarters, formed and poured the correct size pad.
Thanks to BKH Electric and Aark Electric
