The Orange Turd is reaching back to years gone by. He is Redlining Palestinians; his 21st Century N***a (with a hard er)! He is not offering solace to an entitire Race of people, merely wanting to go to or stay in their homeland, a place that is theirs, not his. Not his to take or to own, or to build Trump Towers and Trump Casino at the Riviera of the Middle East! Don’t get it twisted, these beautiful people are Brown People. Cleaning and developing the Gaza Strip for Palestinians is too DEI for the Don! Not going to happen! Just like he refused to rent to Blacks in the recent past, he will not rent, sell to, or build for Palestinians today. What’s in it for him?

Emily Steinhoff James! You were the Only Diva in the House today. All eyes were on you. All love was for you, my beautiful Babygirl! The Service was AMAZING!the music, the speakers, the family, the friends; all on one accord, for you!

Thank you to all who came out to Celebrate the life of our Sister, our Friend, our wife, our mother, our co-worker, our classmate, our Child! Thank you to the planners, Tina, Chanda, Ronzel, Juan, Chris, Muti-Theatre Choir members, the Band, the Ushers, the Color/Honor Guard, Haywood Funeral Services, Divas, Videographers, food-Service, those I forgot to mention, and to Rev. Paul Anderson for opening the doors of your Sanctuary, God’s House to all who came in to Celebrate the life of Emily Steinhoff James! The love was in the House today. I, for one, am grateful to all who thought it not robbery to sing the praises of one of God’s Maidservants whose earthly life was cut short, but who now lives forever in Paradise with the Sages and Saints, with Jesus the Christ, and with God the Father Almighty Himself,who wept as He swept Emily’s Soul from that porch immediately to His Kingdom on high. He took tou in His arms to your mansion tha He had prepared for you, laid you on your couch of Gold, kissed you on your forehead and told you to Rest for just a little while. Celebration of Life for Emily Steinhoff James, you are loved! I love you, my precious sweet Angel!

I never met my birth father. He always thought I died at birth. My mother told him that she and I had found each other and that zi was very much alive. He was happy and looked forward to meeting me. My father, Jimmy Gorham, from Washington, NC, died of Cancer before that happened. I was and am sad about that.

What I got from my father has made me who I am today. My Dad was the Bass singer with the Gospel group, The Selah Jubilee Singers out of Brooklyn, NY. He sang sortly with the Platters. I got his deep voice and desire to sing for the Lord. He was tall, I got that, too.

I got my Native American Heritage from him. I am Tuscarora!

I never knew you, Dad, except through Mom’s memories of you. Happy Fathers Day in Heaven; until we meet in Glory! Love you, Dad!

So Tennessee is making America Great again by reverting to Reconstruction tactics of voting elected Black Officials OUT of office because they don’t like them excersizing their right to protest?

These Republicans are truly showing America and the World just how desperate and Afraid they actually are. In the city that Martin Luther King was murdered, on a street named for the Drum Major of Peace!

Democrat voted to serve her constituents in NC Senate decides she wants to be a Magot and switches parties? Vote her out! Please tell me what is happening to this country?

Tis the Season!

Tomorrow is the first day of Passover. Passover is one of the most Holy Religious Observances of the Jewish Faith. I wanted to be Jewish when I was younger. I loved the rituals and my reasoning was simple, or so I thought. My Savior, Jesus Christ was Jewish and practiced all of these rituals from birth. He was the Christ. If He practiced these rituals, and we are to follow Him, why didn't we do as He did? Matthew 5:17 says, "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill."

In my childlike mind, I took that to mean that we were supposed to observe the things Jesus observed and praise Him as our Savior. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He was Crucified, Died and was buried in a borrowed tomb; and most importantly, He rose again on the third day and now sits on the right hand of God the Father to plead intercession for all who believe in Him. Until last week, I still could not understand why we did not observe and practice the same rituals Jesus did.

Jesus came into the world as a Jew. He was a Hebrew. His Culture and His Religion were His. My Culture and my Religion are different from His. Mine is based on His teachings, that were based on the Prophets and the scriptures and His relationship to the Father and the Holy Spirit. I don't have to sacrifice an unblemished lamb. You were the unblemished lamb that was sacrificed for me! I don't have to ask the Scribes and the Priests for permission to worship in the Synagogue. The house of worship is open to me 24/7 because you gave that to me. I don't need to observe the Passover because You, Jesus, are the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. The death angel has passed over me because of your sacrifice. Those rituals have been replaced, in Christianity with others, some man-made, others based on Biblical Scriptures.

Confession of our Faith before others and before God, Baptism by water as a sign of that Faith and a commitment to follow You; and the Communion of believers, partaking of the cup representing your shed blood and the bread that represents your body that you gave, willingly for us. John 13: 34 and 35 tells us that you gave us all a new commandment: Love one another . As I have loved you; so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." Mathew 22 : 37-40 sums it all up for me, " Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it. You shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets!"

If we love one another, each other, all others; with the love of Jesus; we have then kept the laws, followed the prophets, done the rituals, believed on the Savior, and written our name in the Lamb's book of Life; we must use that perfect love to treat everybody right ,equally, and honestly. We should strive to build a new world together, as God, the Father intended.
