Dellwo Studios and Executive Producer Bill Bancroft are casting a short film called "Deep End of the Pool." We're looking for:
• A woman in her 50s with (or willing to have) red hair
• A somewhat athletic-looking woman in her 50s
• A fair-haired or bald man in his 30s
All need to be comfortable in the water, as the entire film takes place in a swimming pool. Tentative shoot dates are for early September. The time commitment will be one or two days on set.

On the weekend of March 23-25 we led a team in Spokane's annual 50 Hour Slam. It is a timed film competition in which teams have 50 hours to create a short film from start to finish.

I am very grateful to everyone who helped make this film. They worked their butts off and exceeded my expectations in every way. I hope to get to work with them again some day.

I am very proud of the film we made - Seeds of Change.

If selected as a finalist, it, along with 15 other films from the weekend, will be shown on May 4th at the Bing.

Last year I won the award for Best Editorial, and I have high hopes that we will make it past the competition to at least be shown.

Stay tuned - I will let you know when we make it in. (Fingers crossed)

Naomi might not be 13 yet, even if she thinks she is, but she certainly performs beyond her age. She began singing many years ago but recently picked up the ukulele to accompany herself. She's also learning piano and has a natural knack for playing and singing. Her favorite music to perform is Grace Vanderwaal and 21 Pilots. She even covered a 21 Pilots cover of an Elvis song! She's looking forward to adding more performances to her resume soon!

What an incredible honor to be recognized at the 50 Hour Slam for my work as an editor!

Without the Red Team Rebels there would have been no film to edit so a huge thanks and shout out to them for asking me to be on their team this year!

WE DID IT!!! The Red Team Rebels are in!

Feeling a huge sense of accomplishment in making it into the 50 Hour Slam finals! Our film will be one of only 15 finalists shown out of the 41 films that were entered!

So many great competitors turned out this year. I just couldn't be happier about this. I think most film makers just want their movies to be seen so this an honor to put our film in front of such a large audience.

The suggestion on cell phones are good ones. Everyone has a camera in their pocket these days. So please be respectful of the official photographer so as not too get in the way of the bride's official photos. And be respectful of the people you take pictures of. Sharing images without permission, especially of children, could get you into hot water.
