—John Barrymore played the lead role in the first part-talkie film, DON JUAN ('26), which also starred Mary Astor, Myrna Loy, Helene Costello, Estelle Taylor, Montagu Love, and Warner Oland. "Don Juan" was released by Warner Brothers and Vitaphone at Grauman's Egyptien on August 6, 1926, but despite being the first part-talkie film, it was not a success.

—JOHN BARRYMORE born John Sidney Blyth on february 15, 1882, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was the third son of Maurice Blyth Barrymore (1849–1905) and Georgiana Drew (1856–1893), and younger brother of Lionel (1878–1954) and Ethel (1879–1959). Barrymore's screen career starts in 1912, but, in 1914 he becomes an screen star at Paramount Pictures with films than "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" ('20) and "Sherlock Holmes" ('22). In 1924, John Barrymore take a contract with Warner Brothers, to play the leading role in BEAU BRUMMEL ('24), directed by Harry Beaumont, and starring by Mary Astor, Carmel Myers and Irene Rich.
