YOUTH NEWS – NEWSPAPERS THE ADELAIDE ADVERTISER ARM

FOOTBALL: There will be a lot of happy Power and Crows supporters as both teams won their matches on the weekend.

BOWELL CANCER AWARENESS MONTH: There are more than 14,000 reasons to support Bowell Cancer Australia – one for each person whose life will be changed when they are diagnosed with bowel cancer, and that’s just in one year. If you’ve ever thought about raising awareness for bowel cancer, Bowell Cancer Awareness Month is the perfect time to join the bowel movement!

WILD ONESIE WEEK: From 2nd to 6th June. Wild Onesie Week is a new national community event. Are you prepared to dress head-to-toe as an endangered animal? That’s the challenge to Australians during WILD ONESIE WEEK! By wearing a Onesie and going about your daily business, you’ll get a sense of what’s it’s like to be an endangered species for a day. The event is designed to raise awareness about endangered species and funds for World Wildlife Fund Australia to continue their important work.

WEIRD/CRAZY NEWS – MAGAZINES THE CELEB GOSSIP WHO WEEKLY ARM

PIECE OF PAPER: A man in Sydney has placed a piece of paper with the word ‘the’ on a bidding website, which has received bids exceeding $40,000. The auctioneer’s description of the item reads ‘in excellent condition, and can be used in thousands of sentences’. The website has not commented on the strange item posting.

BREAD THIEF: A man in Chicago has staged a bizarre theft stunt after he broke into a bread van parked in a street wearing only his underwear and stole more than $10,000 worth of bread. While driving the van, the man started throwing loaves of bread until he ran out. Police eventually caught the thief and charged him with theft and dangerous driving.
