Come along; watch, learn, act!

In 1967 an overwhelming ‘Yes for Aborigines’ allowed the Commonwealth to make laws for Indigenous Australians. In 2023 a majority Yes would constitutionally enshrine an Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander Voice to advise on those laws. This is a matter of long overdue recognition and social justice.

Please join us for this special FREE SCREENING of a documentary about 1967 by Aboriginal filmmaker Frances Peters-Little.

Our theme this month explored different perspectives on belonging, and the things we do in order to fill our life with purpose and adventure.

This is one of the short films we showed alongside 'Lasseter's Bones'.

A huge thankyou to the project for making this film possible.

It was another wonderful evening at StoryWall, enjoyed by all who attended.

What a great night out! Our first screening for 2018 was well received by all in attendance. It’s wonderful to gather in the centre of town and share the space with each other, to celebrate aspects of our cultural heritage. A huge thanks to The Meeting Place Cafe for providing delicious meals (with an extra dollop of generous hospitality).
