After a stellar sell-out showing in Cinema One in April, BONEGILLA THE MIGRANTS JOURNEY is back next month for another special event screening accompanied by a live piano and violin score, and a Q&A with director Simon Reich.

Parents will be amazed - children will understand - everyone will love... TOTORO! Or so says this very 80s poster from the first US release.

Next up in our weekly Ghibli retrospective is everybody's favourite friendly neighbourhood forest spirit, MY NEIGHBOUR TOTORO (1988). Written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki, the story follows two sisters who relocate to the countryside and discover their surroundings are inhabited my magical spirits. One of Ghibli's most adored characters, Totoro has become the face of the studio, making up part of its official logo.

Screening tomorrow night (Wednesday 20 May) in its original Japanese with English subs and this Sunday 24 May in its English dubbed version.

LATE ADDITION! We are delighted to share that the beloved KIKI'S DELIVERY SERVICE (1989) has been added to our Studio Ghibli retrospective and tickets are on sale now 🧹

Written, directed and produced by Hayao Miyazaki, and based on Eiko Dadono's novel of the same name, KIKI'S DELIVERY SERVICE will hit our screens this July in a magnificent 4K restoration.

Screening Wednesday 29 July in its original Japanese with English subtitles, and Sunday 2 August in its English-dub as part of The World of Studio Ghibli.
