Heavy lifting and safety sorted!

Projects like this have some logistics to coordinate.

Scaffold has to go in as the structure comes up, with the right platforms and edge protection in place for the trades working around the build.

Heavy gear.
Large site.
Plenty to organise.

Plenty of pipes, platforms and existing structures to navigate here.

The scaffold has to suit the plant and give the trades access exactly where they need to perform their craft.

Getting in tight despite lots of variables...
It’s about making the access work around everything else happening on site.

And we nailed this one.

The people behind QSS 👋

Emma-Kate Thompson and Chris Wragg started Queensland Specialised Scaffolding in 2018 with one goal: lifting the standard of scaffolding across South East Queensland, with better training and safer sites.

Today we look after industrial, commercial, and high-end residential projects with Kwikstage, Ringlock and Aluminium modular systems, all run out of our yard in Joyner.

We enjoy what we do, and we enjoy raising the bar as we go.

It keeps on going...
In fact, we ran out of frame to showcase all the scaffolding here.

Creating a safe, stable working platform around the building with edge protection and controlled access across multiple levels, takes some serious planning.

On a project like this, the scaffold needs to work with the build as it progresses.

Levels have to line up with the work areas, access needs to stay clear, and the setup needs to allow the different trades to get on with their scope.
