Hello Everyone, Michael here!

The Session times for 30th of July to the 5th of August are live! Spider-Man: Brand New Day is out this week and we're expecting it to be quite big for this coming Weekend!

With Spider-Man: Brand New Day out, this does mean unfortunately we will not be screening the following movies from Thursday onwards: Evil Dead Burn, The Sheep Detectives, Michael and Supergirl. If you are wanting to go see these films, I recommend you go see them in the next couple of days as Wednesday will be their last sessions here.

Hello Everyone, Michael here. I thought I’d take the time to write an introduction about myself as I am now the Location Manager of Victoria Point Cineplex. It’s a privilege to be in such a position and I am excited to explore further into the role! I’ve been in the Cinema Industry for just about 10 years now with 5 years being down in a Cinema down in NSW called Scotty’s Cinema Raymond Terrace and then now 5 years here at Victoria Point Cineplex. I am typically a Night Owl spending most of my 5 shifts a week here at night so for those customers who might’ve not seen my face that’s probably why. I’ve got such a huge passion for the Cinema Industry and find it one of the most enjoyable career paths as every day is different to some extent. I’ve spent the past 2 and a half years as a Duty Manager here at Victoria Point being an understudy to Steve as to which I can’t thank him enough for helping me get ready for the Location Manager position. Started in the Café and have now made my way to Location Manager and I am so thrilled to see the Cinema progress in the future. Some things I would like to communicate is that I will be working with Merchandising companies closely to provide Merchandising for some of the Big films that are being released towards the end of the year. I am always happy to have a chat and if you have any questions do feel free to come on in and ask away! Looking forward to seeing everyone over the next couple of weeks with Spider-Man: Brand New Day out, have a great week!
