The Wangaratta Cinema Centre was opened in November 1995 in response to the desire of the public of Wangaratta to have an up-to-date entertainment complex of their own. Initially comprising three screens, the tremendous support of our customers convinced us to add an extra screen to the complex in 1999 thus enabling a greater variety of product to be offered. State-of-the-art "Cadmatic 2000" seats

, wall-to-wall screens, infra-red Dolby surround sound and German made lenses combine to give our patrons a cinema experience only normally available in the large city-based "multiplexes".

Trying to figure out what to do to beat the midweek blues? This coming Wednesday (13/05) Top Gun is flying back into cinemas for its 40th Anniversary! Or why not make it a marathon by watching Top Gun Maverick right after! ✈🛩

This is a one-time screening with Top Gun (PG) screening at 6:10pm, then Top Gun Maverick (M) screening at 8:30pm.

We are back again this week with another 5 anticipated movies from our staff members! Next up is our Candy Bar/Events Coordinator Cristina, who has quite the mix of genres for her top 5!

Wuthering Heights (M) is Cristina's top pick for this Valentines season which releases just in time for the big day! Wuthering Heights releases in cinemas February 12th.

Project Hail Mary (CTC) is a book adaptation of Andy Weir's novel of the same title. Project Hail Mary releases in cinemas March 19th.

Based on the beloved children's book series by Enid Blyton, The Magic Faraway Tree (CTC) releases in cinemas on March 26th just in time for the Easter school holidays!

The Devil Wears Prada 2 (CTC) is the much awaited sequel, with the first movie celebrating 20 years since it's initial release! The Devil Wear Prada 2 releases in cinemas April 30th.

Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow (CTC) releases in cinemas June 25th making a great action movie to watching during the June/July school holidays!

With so many movies releasing each year we thought for the next few weeks we could share with you some of our most anticipated releases for the next 6 months to help introduce these titles to you all!

Starting with one of our Front of House employees comes a diverse range of movies to suit nearly everyone's taste! (I know I'm certainly excited for these releases!)

Hamnet (M) starts screening at our cinema from February 5th.

Fackham Hall (M) is a comedy (satire/spoof) that releases on February 19th.

Mortal Kombat II (MA15+) releases in cinemas on May 7th.

The Odyssey (CTC) releases in cinemas July 16th.
