Join our embroidery artists Maricor and Maricar for a morning of stitching in their beginners workshop in May.

They are holding a Sweater Letter Sampler workshop on Saturday the 28th of May 11-1:30pm at The Space Sydney.

During the workshop they will be demonstrating a variety of stitches and will share with you their tips and tricks for creating your own embroidered artwork. Learn and practice on a sampler design and then start and take home with you a cosy Maricor/Maricar Sweater Letter design, that you will be able to customise with your choice of colours and textures.

This is a beginners workshop so no experience necessary.

Hey there! Come join our resident photographer in celebrating the opening exhibition of her solo show 365wordgirl - A SELF PORTRAIT PROJECT WITH A TWIST as part of the Head On Photo Festival

NEXT Thursday 5th of May 6pm at The Space Sydney - 282 Wyndham St, Alexandria.

A self portrait photographic project with a twist. 365wordgirl invited visitors to enter random words thus forming the basis of 52 self portraits. Each portrait uses 7 words in the order entered. 365wordgirl is a journey of self discovery via the words of random people from all corners of the globe.

Exciting opportunity for a Sydney creative to be apart of some exciting art projects with and assist with craft workshops, art commissions and other general marketing/admin. (Graphic design experience would be an advantage). 3 month internship with some paid work available during projects, with plenty of freebies, free workshops, free studio area to use, and to be apart of an amazing art collective community where there is access to 50 artists/designers/makers!! I am looking for the right person in hope to offer them permanent paid work in the long term.
