Cinema Alternativo da Unicamp We are all people from different cultures with diverse social experiences. We want to watch movies about chosen topics together and discuss them.

Movies are not only there for entertainment or for commercial promotions. Movies can be a point of discussion, a point of reflection and can portray aspects of realities we would otherwise not know. We are all people from different cultural and social experiences. By watching movies about chosen topics we want to discuss with each other. We want to understand/get to know different social realities

through movies. We will collectively decide what movies we want to see and on what topics. The first theme will be migration and we will start with the french movie "The Names of Love"."the discussion will be in english and in portugues. English is not our first language and neither in protuguese so we will try to translate where possible to enable the participation of everyone who wishes to.
